Description of Children and Youth Served

Groden staff and client The Day Program serves children and youth between the ages of 3 and 21. The following diagnostic criteria is a guide for referring individuals to the program:

  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorders
  • Behavioral Disorders
  • Serious Communication and Learning Disabilities
  • Dual-Diagnosed Cognitive and Mental Health Disorders.

Range of Services

The Day Program operates 12 months per year, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM with regular holiday and vacation periods and optional Saturday Therapeutic Program.

A team of professional staff comprised of clinical psychologists, special educators, behavioral specialists, social work clinicians and specialists in speech and language, occupational therapy, vocational education and clinical interventions collaborate to assess the needs of each child/youth, coordinate programs, implement goals and evaluate progress.
